DESCRIPTION:TICKETS WILL BE $30.00 PER PERSON \n\n\n\nThe New Zealand ABBA Tribute Band—ABBA HEAVEN! is based in Auckland\, New Zealand. The band often travels nationwide to perform at private parties\, clubs\, corporate events\, festivals\, balls\, and other milestone and promotional events. \n\n\n\nAWARDS \n\n\n\nABBA HEAVEN were voted Castaways Resort Top Group at the Variety Artists Club Benny Awards in October 2023. Ness Abernethy won Top Female Artist Award. These awards are voted by entertainment peers from all around New Zealand. \n\n\n\nREBOOT 2022 \n\n\n\nThis lineup\, being formed in 2018\, includes two of the original band members being Pauline Berry (The Mermaids) and Stuart Pearce (Hello Sailor). \n\n\n\nABBA Heaven relaunched in 2022 introducing new key vocalist Vanessa (Ness) Abernethy as Agnetha. Not only that\, but she brought with her guitarist & keyboardist John Gorbey\, a welcome addition to the band\, performing alongside Pauline Berry as Frida\, and keyboardist/Musical Director Stuart Pearce. Additional performer in 2025 is singer Karl Donovan\, as Benny. \n\n\n\nPRODUCTION \n\n\n\nABBA HEAVEN! The New Zealand ABBA Tribute Band performs with all live vocals\, guitar and two keyboardists over custom made studio tracks. Top Australian and New Zealand musicians were recorded to help recreate the sound of ABBA recordings. \n\n\n\nThus the musical beds live vocals\, keyboards and guitar are performed over\, produced by Stuart Pearce\, are aiming at as much authenticity as possible. \n\n\n\nTHE VOCALISTS \n\n\n\nAdditionally\, the blend of Vanessa\, a soprano and Pauline\, a mezzo soprano together are achieving a sound reminiscent of Agnetha & Frida\, and frequently remarked upon by the audience members\, and appreciated by ABBA fans nationwide. \n\n\n\nSTAGE PRESENTATION \n\n\n\nThe band performs in custom made replica costumes. \n\n\n\nMany of the songs are choreographed\, as both Ness and Pauline like to move! \n\n\n\nThe band provides full production including lighting\, often a large backdrop\, disco balls and full sound system. \n\n\n\nTHE ABBA SONGS! \n\n\n\nAudience participation is encouraged and exceptional at each show. ABBA Heaven! really gets to feel the love\, with the audience singing along to SOS\, Mamma Mia\, Fernando\, Gimme Gimme\, Voulez Vous\, Waterloo\, Super Trooper\, Lay All Your Love On Me\, and of course Dancing Queen! plus so many more. \n\n\n\nThe band currently performs 37 ABBA Tunes\, with more being added in 2025.
