The Havelock Room

The Havelock Room is the perfect space to host any type of function – from weddings to seminars, special birthdays and any other event you want to host.

A completely private space that is closed off from the other club facilities and main bar, it’s equipped for everything you need for any type of function you want to host.

With a full bar and kitchen facilities on the ground floor, it can comfortably seat 60 people. If you have a bigger guest list, the space can open up into the adjoining entertainment room and you can add another 250 people.

The Havelock Room comes equipped standard with a big screen projector, whiteboard, complimentary Wi-Fi and plenty of comfortable chairs with plenty of spacious tables in an upmarket setting.

We can offer a wide range of catering options, including but not limited to morning and afternoon teas, finger food, snack platters, and a fully catered service.

Other Function Rooms

The Card Room is good for small get together or meetings. It can seat up to 50 people and comes with access to a kitchen and a private outdoor area.

The Social Hall can seat up to 250 people. It has a stage for performances, a big screen projector and speaker stand and a piano. The Social Hall has its own separate bar and kitchen facilities and a private bathroom. With lower-level access from Burnett Street.

Our Function Rooms

Host over 300 people

The Havelock Room caters comfortably for 60 people seated. Open out onto the private, adjoining entertainment room and add another 250 people to your guest list. The perfect space for private functions, conferences, end-of-year work dos, weddings and more.

Wheelchair Accessible

Our Club is fully accessible for wheelchairs.
Walker frames available for member’s to use.

The upstairs conference rooms and office hire spaces are accessible via lifts, so no space is off-limits.

Catering is available with kitchen facilities on every floor, ensuring a seamless event. Whether you are after morning or afternoon tea, catering for a wedding or private function, our team can do it all.

The Club can connect you with the best local Kiwi music and performing arts talent. Add musicians, performing arts and live music entertainment to suit any type of event you want to host.

Courtesy Van

Club members can enjoy weekend events at the Club and get home safely with our courtesy van. Also available for group trips and functions for members. Call the bottle store to book.


Above the Havelock Room, we have a selection of modern function rooms, fully kitted out for any event, meeting, seminar or private function you are planning.

We have an additional floor upstairs available with other function rooms with convenient lift access. The function spaces also include a board room. With full-service kitchen facilities on both floors, you can be assured of a seamless catered event.

Upstairs, we also have a boardroom and management offices which are also available for long-term lease or event hire. The Snooker Room is a fantastic option and a well-equipped function room.

These spaces are conveniently accessed via a lift and are wheelchair accessible.
